Easter Egg Hunt

I know Easter isn't for another week (eek!) but today I went on an Easter Egg Hunt at my local pet farm. This is an Annual event and involves spending about an hour embracing your inner child as you race around the farm, stopping only to write down all the numbers you see and taking pictures of the cute baby animals. Yes, I am 16 years old - certainly the oldest playing by 10 years, besides adults - however, my sister's boyfriend owns the business now and asked me to drag some friends along for the day. I was delighted at how quickly they agreed to come! We used to attend the Egg Hunt every year when we were younger, so it was a great day reminiscing about our childhood memories..

We spent the whole day in the freezing cold looking for these number placards and writing them down.. What fun!

Gareth, the guy who runs the place, named this little dude after me when I wrote an article about the farm for a magazine. Meet Laura the Lamb! (the one that's not blurred).

This dude was very very loud, but look how cute he looks in a picture! Aww

Braving the freezing temperatures and biting wind was all worth it in the end though, look how many sweets the four of us got! They tasted of VICTORY (delicious). And of course we had to get a cup of tea at the end, to warm up our cold cold tummies.

Overall it was a truly great day, nice to get out of the house and have a run around the place - stretch the ole legs you know! Here's the four of us looking our best (I'm the sheep, of course!)
